
The
Hotel Beau Rivage is a historic 5-star Hotel with 93 rooms. It is
located on the shores of Lake Geneva in the very heart of Geneva.
Since it's opening in 1865, the Hotel Beau Rivage is owned and managed
by the Mayer family. The hotel has a long tradition with royal personalities
such as "Sissi", the Empress of Austria, Peter of Russia, or Emperor
Akihito of Japan who among others have stayed there. Still today,
international politicians, celebrities and artists prefer the Beau
Rivage for its atmosphere of peaceful luxury. The facilities of
the Hotel Beau Rivage include two restaurants: the "Le Chat-Botté"
for French Gastronomic cuisine and the "Le Patara" for lovers of
exotic and spicy dishes; and the Bar "L'Atrium" for light snacks,
afternoon tea, cocktails and piano entertainment in the evening
(with open terrace during summer months). Dominique Gauthier, the
Chef of the Chat-Botté restaurant has been elected "Best
Chef of Suisse Romande" for 2005 and awarded 17/20 points with
3 toques. Further amenities at the Hotel Beau Rivage include various
conference and banquet rooms, the business center with Internet
cabin, high-speed wireless Internet connection in all public areas,

Executive
Rooms are without balcony and with city view. All bathrooms have
a bathtub including shower, and hair-dryer, Trussardi bathroom amenities,
bathroom slippers and bathrobe. All rooms are equipped with individually
controlled air-conditioning, direct dial-in/dial-out telephones
with 4 lines, data-ports, voice mail service, mini-bar, large in-room
electronic safe, bedside control panel, Cable & Satellite TV, radio,
state-of-the-art broadband high speed Internet access with VPN by
Cisco Systems - wireless in all public areas and meeting rooms,
new numeric television systems, large selection of latest movies
with DVD options (monthly update by satellite), jukebox feature
with a wide selection of CD's with music for all tastes, video on
demand, direct internet access with wireless keyboards, Play Station
and games (on request). The Executive Rooms are available with 2
Twin Beds (separated or pushed together), or with one Double Bed

Single Standard: Single occupancy of any room
Deluxe Room: These Deluxe Rooms are larger rooms have a
work desk and a living-room corner. Bathroom held in green marble
stone; with separate bathtub and shower. Some Deluxe Rooms feature
a balcony that is facing the lake with great views of the "Jet
d'Eau"-fountain, the Alps with the Mont-Blanc, Geneva's Downtown
area or the Old Town. These rooms are available with 2 Twin Beds
(pushed together) or with one king-size Double Bed.
Prestige Room: The Prestige Rooms have a minimum of 45m2.
They have a large work desk and a living-room corner. All Prestige
Rooms feature a balcony that is facing the lake with great views
of the "Jet d'Eau"-fountain, the Alps with the Mont-Blanc,
Geneva's Downtown area or the Old Town. Available with 2 Twin
Beds (pushed together) or with one king-size Double Bed.
Junior
Suite: The Jr. Suite feature a separate bedroom and living
room (minimum 50 square meters totally) as well as two separate
bathrooms. All have balcony facing the lake with great views of
the "Jet d'Eau"-fountain, the Alps with the Mont-Blanc,
Geneva's Downtown area or the Old Town. The Jr. Suite is available
with 2 Twin Beds (separated or pushed together) or with one queen-size
Double Bed.
Suites: The Suites have all retained the outstanding décors
and spirit of the 19th century, and have been lovingly restored
over the years. All the suites include a bedroom with an adjoining
living room (minimum 80 square meters). The windows provide a
dress circle seat to enjoy the superb panorama of the lake with
the "Jet d'Eau"-fountain, the Alps with the "Mont-Blanc"
mountain, and the city. The frescoes by Italian artists of the
past century and the original panelling decorate these exceptional
apartments. The suites offer several possible combinations from
two to seven bedrooms; the most prestigious combination is called
"Royal' such as the "Louis II of Bavaria"-Suite
with up to seven bedrooms leading off from a large and lavish
reception room dating from the period of this madly eccentric
king. The master bedroom contains an impressive blend of baroque
charm and modern technology, with two bathrooms in precious marble
- one with a Jacuzzi offering a view of the lake and the Alps;
the other with a Sauna and a shower. The absolutely superb décor
is in shades of indigo and sienna, with furniture dating from
1847, a crystal chandelier and two queen-size beds.

on how to get there
By public transportation:
Upon arriving at the Geneva Railway Station we recommend you taking
a taxi (you would have to change public buses several times to
get to the hotel)
By car:
Exit the motorway at "Geneva - Lake" and follow signs
to the lake ("Lac"); following the "Rue de Lausanne"-street;
then via "Avenue de France" to the lake; follow "Quai
Wilson" and then "Quai Mont-Blanc" along the lake
to the Hotel Beau Rivage at Nr. 13 (to your right).
