Description of Double Standard Room
Most rooms at the Hotel Derby have recently been renovated and are equipped with rustic, wooden furniture. These rooms have a balcony and are facing North with view of the Wetterhorn mountain. The Bathroom has a shower, and a hair-dryer is also included. All rooms include cable TV, radio, phone (direct dial-out), wireless Internet connection, safe and mini-bar and two Twin Beds (separate or pushed together). Smoking / non-smoking rooms available on request.

Single Room: smaller room with balcony facing North or South; bathroom with shower only

Double Superior: with balcony facing South with view of the “Eiger” mountain; bathroom with bathtub including shower

Junior Suite: larger room with sitting area; with balcony, most facing South (some rooms facing North); bathroom with bathtub including shower

Apartment: larger room for families (2 adults and 2 children)

The Hotel Derby is a superior 3-star hotel with a long tradition. It is still run by the owner's family, that also has a farm which is providing fresh dairy products to cook delicious swiss meals at the hotel. By public transportation:
Take the train from Interlaken Ost to Grindelwald; at the Grindelwald Railway Station you can’t miss the Hotel Derby just across the railway tracks.

By car:
Upon entering the village of Grindelwald, you will see the Railway Station to your left, where you turn left an pass the railway station on the left side, and you will find the Hotel Derby after 50 meters in front of you.
