Hotel Sunstar Park, Davos

The Hotel Sunstar Park is an elegant 4-star hotel with 214 rooms located in a quiet park in Davos Platz within approx. 10 minutes walking distance to the railway station or cableway. The facilities at the Sunstar Park include 3 restaurants: the "Jakobshorn" for guests on the Half-Board menu plan, the "Rotisserie" for fine à la carte menus and a selected wine-list, and the "Bauernstuebli" for Fondue and other Swiss specialties. Further amenities include the large hotel lobby with open fireplace and a bar for drinks and snacks during the day as well as in the evenings (with live piano music entertainment), the large indoor swimming pool, steam bath and solarium. The newly built wellness center offers a generous range of health-related services, including a log cabin sauna, Roman-themed landscape with four climate zones, massages, large fitness circuit and gym. Families with children can use a playroom on the premises and during selected weeks in the winter season, the "Kids Club" at the 3-star Hotel Sunstar (next door) offerds supervised activities. A playroom for teenagers (and adults) includes table soccer and table tennis among others; there is also a small movie theatre with a weekly changing programm Finally, the Hotel Sunstar Park has recently added several new meeting and conference facilities, it offers complimentary shuttle services to/from the railway station and during winter time to the gondola station of the Parsenn and Jakobshorn mountains, and there's a sports shop in the hotel. 

Description of Double Standard Room:
The Standard Double Rooms at the Hotel Sunstar Park are decorated in rustic alpine style with pine wood furniture, and are facing northeast (no balcony). Most rooms were recently renovated and have a bathroom with bathtub including shower and a hair-dryer. All rooms feature Cable-TV, radio, direct dial-out phone, wireless LAN Internet connection, mini-bar and safety box. All rooms have 2 twin-size beds (pushed together); all rooms are non-smoking rooms.

Description of all other Rooms:
Single Standard: smaller room facing northeast with bed for one person; bathroom with shower
 
Single Deluxe: smaller room facing southwest with bed for one person; bathroom with shower

Double Deluxe: with balcony facing southwest or southeast, most with beautiful views overlooking the Davos mountains

Junior Suite: larger room facing southwest with separate room (sitting corner with sofa)

Directions on how to get there:
By Public Transportation:
Exit train at "Davos Platz" - railway station; call the hotel for free pick -up (or even better, let the hotel know your arrival time beforehand, and the shuttle will be there upon your arrival). If walking (approx. 10 minutes slightly uphill…), walk to your left in front of the railway station and then take the first street uphill on the right (100 meters). Cross the larger street (Promenade) and keep going up another 100 meters. You will see the Hotel Sunstar on the left hand side.

By Car:
Take the famous upper one-way street called "Promenade"; keep going after the "Congress Center" until you see on the right hand side the brown sign "Sunstar"; turn right and at the next crossing turn left; the hotel entrance is 50 meters down this street on the right side.
